We will be going out this weekend to check on trail conditions. The Blog will be updated on Sunday evening.

Basketball Courts Closing

Courts #1, #2, #3 and MAC Court will be closed from Tuesday 1/26 8:00 p.m. to Wednesday 1/27 at 6:00 p.m. due to Career Fair.

Trails. 1/20/10

Below is the grooming report tonight from Peter Gerard. Peter has done a great job with grooming the trails for the last 3 years and will continue to do so.

Trails # 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11 - wide, flat and have a track.

Pinkham road now connects to heart attack hill, nice loop. no track yet though.

One pass around the cornfield and trail 10...needs to be hit again...

We will be grooming all trails starting tomorrow Wednesday 1/20/10.

Dianne is retiring!

Our long-time Administrative Assistant, Dianne Gallant, is retiring after 27 years with UMaine! Please feel free to stop by and give her your congratulations and well wishes.

Over the past three days Campus Recreation staff have put over 40 hours of work into the UM Forest Trails. All trails are open and groomed for skiing.

Please be courteous to all trail users and please do not walk or run on groomed trails.

1/3/10 Trail Update

We will be grooming all trails over the next couple days. We are also renting skis at the Rec Center starting on Monday 1/4/10.
