Ski Trail Update

Campus Rec Operations staff have been working on the trails for the last couple days and will continue to do so. Due to all the trees and limbs that have blown down it is taking us longer than normal.

Trail #3 is the only groomed trail at this point. Looking ahead for the weekend and the pending storm we will do our best to get all trails groomed as quickly as possible.

More information to come.

First Ski Trail Update of the Winter!

The groomer went out last night. The biggest change this year from last, is that Pinkham Road won't be plowed this winter. For those who are seasoned veterans, Pinkham Road is the major connecting road out behind Old Town Middle School. This will
add a great addition for this coming season.

Further notes:

• Trail 3 is groomed (no track) from Rec Center to farm road. Very fast... (one big deadfall that needs to be cut).
• Athletic field loop is groomed, with a skier-made track... Not bad.
• Upper half of Trail 9 is rough, but manageable.
• Pinkham Road stretch between the 9 trail is beautiful. Nice to have it back.

For any questions regarding grooming, please direct your comments to David Mahan, Asst. Dir. for Operations, who oversees the grooming operations.

Enjoy the skiing!
